தொடர்ந்து அணுஆயுத ஏவுகணை சோதனைகளில் ஈடுபட்டு வரும் வடகொரியாவின் செயலுக்கு எதிர்ப்பு தெரிவிக்கும் விதமாக சீனா இந்த நடவடிக்கையில் ஈடுபட்டுள்ளதாக அமெரிக்கா தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

இதுகுறித்து கிழக்கு ஆசியாவுக்கான அமெரிக்க பிரதிநிதி கூறும்போது, "வடகொரியாவுடனான எல்லையோர கட்டுப்பாட்டை சீனா அதிகரித்துள்ளதாக அந்நாடு தெரிவித்துள்ளது. மேலும் சீனா- வடகொரியா எல்லையோரத்தில் சீன போலீஸ் அதிகாரிகள் சுங்க ஆய்வில் ஈடுபட்டுள்ளனர்" என்றார்.

Actor Sir Roger Moore, best known for playing James Bond, has died at age 89.

He played the famous spy in seven Bond films including Live and Let Die and A View to a Kill.

Sir Roger was also well known for his humanitarian work he was introduced to UNICEF by the late Audrey Hepburn and was appointed as a goodwill ambassador in 1991.

ரூ.7,500 கோடி மதிப்பிலான சொத்துகளை விற்க சஹாரா குழுமம் முடிவு

வெளிநாடுகளில் உள்ள 3 ஹோட்டல்களையும், இந்தியாவில் உள்ள 30 சொத்துகளையும் விற்க சஹாரா குழுமம் முடிவு செய்துள்ளது. அவற்றின் மதிப்பு ரூ.7,500 கோடியாகும்.

உள்நாட்டில் உள்ள சொத்துகளை வாங்க 250-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட நிறுவனங்களும், தனிநபர்களும் விருப்பம் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர். இதில், டாடா, அதானி, கோத்ரெஜ், பதஞ்சலி ஆகிய நிறுவனங்களும், பல்வேறு கட்டுமான நிறுவனங்களும் முன்னிலையில் உள்ளன.

முன்னதாக, முதலீட்டாளர்களிடம் பணத்தைப் பெற்று மோசடி செய்த வழக்கில், சஹாரா நிறுவனத்தின் சொத்துகளை விற்க உச்ச நீதிமன்றம் உத்தரவிட்டது. ரூ.5,092 கோடியை இந்திய பங்குச் சந்தை பரிவர்த்தனை வாரியத்திடம் (செபி) செலுத்தவும் நீதிமன்றம் உத்தரவிட்டது. இதையடுத்து, சொத்துகளை விற்க சஹாரா குழுமம் முடிவெடுத்துள்ளது.

மேலும், சஹாரா குழுமத் தலைவர் சுப்ரதா ராய் இப்போது ஜாமீனில் வெளியே வந்துள்ளார். அவர் ஜூன் 19-ஆம் தேதி நீதிமன்றத்தில் ஆஜராக இருக்கிறார். அதற்கு முன்பு, சுப்ரதாராய் ரூ.1,500 கோடியை நீதிமன்றத்தில் செலுத்தியாக வேண்டும். இல்லையெனில் அவர் மீண்டும் சிறைக்குச் செல்ல நேரிடும்.
